Our Staff
Clinical Therapists
Our clinical therapist counseling department is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and groups form a professional relationship that assists with the accomplishments of their mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Counselors and clients collaborate to create strategies for overcoming obstacles and personal challenges and work toward creating goals that lead to sustained positive change. Utilizing a diverse set of research- based strategies, our counselors help clients identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional turmoil; seek to improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; and promote behavior change and optimal mental health.

Psychology
PAR Rehab Services administers psychological & neuropsychological tests to children, adolescents, and adults. Test administration is part of a larger diagnostic process that helps identify individual strengths and weaknesses and how those findings may fit into the context of the larger presenting concerns (e.g., memory impairment, difficulty with attention/concentration, depression, anxiety, Autism). These tests are standardized and thus scores are always compared with same-aged individuals to obtain the most accurate information. The testing procedure, depending on the referral question, can take from 2 to 5 hours and will typically involve answering questions, completing paper-pencil tasks, working with computers, and completing self-report questionnaires. Ultimately, a summary of the data is reproduced in a report that will generally be forward to each patient and the referring group. All evaluations are completed with consideration for the highest cultural and professional standards.

Psychiatry
At PAR Rehab Services, our psychiatry department works collaboratively to provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive services to each and every patient we see. We recognize that each patient is unique and presents with an individualized set of needs. From our initial evaluation, our focus becomes disentangling these individualized needs and improving overall mental health through a variety of available interventions.
Our providers conduct comprehensive initial evaluations which provide an in-depth understanding of the psychopathology of each of our patients. A treatment plan is subsequently formulated to include interventions ranging from medication management, coping skills, referral for therapy services, referrals for comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, and education regarding other resources available to serve each patient’s individual needs.
We treat all ages and specialize in a variety of disorders and our measured treatment outcome success rates are exceptional. Psychiatry visits commence with an initial evaluation which consists of between one to three 60 minute appointments; followed by 30-60 minute follow up appointments. Our team is dedicated to providing patients with optimal care using expertise and compassion to achieve the best possible outcome for each patient.
