Dr. Barnes completed medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his adult residency at Michigan State and his child fellowship at Wayne State University. Dr. Barnes has a background in education and in addition to working in private practice at PAR, and serving as PAR’s medical director, Dr. Barnes serves as a consultant to Camp Highfields in Onondaga, MI and with the Jackson County Intermediate School District. Dr. Barnes is a Clinical Associate Professor with Michigan State University, Department of Psychiatry, College of Human Medicine and provides supervision for child and adolescent fellows and medical students.
