Neuropsychological Evaluation
A neuropsychological evaluation provides a comprehensive assessment of intellectual, cognitive, and personality characteristics, resulting in an objective diagnosis related to neurological disorders, information related to the degree of disability, educational needs, and recommendations for treatment. On average, most neuropsychological evaluations take 3 to 5 hours to complete, but some patients may take longer. Breaks are provided as needed.
Neuropsychological Evaluations require a medical diagnosis. Examples include, but are not limited to: memory loss, Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, concussions, seizures, CHI, and TBI.
Psychological Evaluation
A psychological evaluation provides a comprehensive assessment of a person’s social history, current intellectual and academic abilities, and personality characteristics resulting in an objective diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Tests are administered to measure general thinking, attention, concentration, learning, memory, and general emotional and psychological functioning. On average, most psychological evaluations take 3 to 5 hours to complete, but some patients may take longer. Short breaks are provided as needed.
Psychological Evaluations include mental health diagnosis. Examples include, but are not limited to: ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, learning issues, behavior issues, depression, anxiety, and bariatric pre-surgical evaluations.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Evaluations
Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations are conducted utilizing the ADOS-2 diagnostic system ranging in ages from young children to adults.
Vocational Evaluation
A vocational evaluation provides a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s employment experience, occupational aptitudes and interests resulting in a summary of a person’s employment options, and vocational rehabilitation strategies to decrease the period of unemployment.
