Cameron Paxton is a temporary limited licensed psychologist at PAR Rehabilitation Services. He is an alumni of Western Michigan University where he earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology. Cameron conducts supervised psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults in addition to providing therapy services. He orients his practice in a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, existentialism, and person-centered therapy. The cornerstones of his work include the assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. He is committed to providing multiculturally informed treatment.
Cameron is a native-born Michigander hailing from the greater Flint area. He received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from The University of Chicago. He has worked nationally and internationally with nonprofits and as a university lecturer. He is a member of the Michigan Psychological Association and has served on the Program Committee, assisting in the creation of educational conferences and lectures.
