Limited Licensed Professional Counselor
Anne earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University as well as a National Accreditation as a Professional Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. After working at the Women’s Center of Greater Lansing for a few years she joined PAR in January 2014. She is a member of the Michigan Counseling Association and American Counseling Association. She has experience working with adolescence through adults dealing with a host of life challenges including post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, sexual assault, domestic violence, marital difficulties, recovery from divorce, autism, anger management, depression, substance use disorder, adjustment issues, and end-of-life. Anne is committed to helping the client increase their awareness of choices as well as to help facilitate decision making and goal setting to assist in bringing about a desired change. In this pursuit, she uses both a Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered approach.
