Katlyn received her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Michigan State University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. Katlyn also completed her undergraduate degree at MSU with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Katlyn has specialized training and clinical experience in working with persons with disabilities and has a special interest in intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Katlyn began her time at PAR as a psychometrist and continues to conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Katlyn also provides psychotherapy to individuals with disabilities in areas of disability adjustment, mental health, behavioral, and work-related issues. In her practice, Katlyn takes a person-centered approach, developing a genuine therapeutic relationship, grounded in an empathetic understanding of her clients. She is also sensitive to and prepared to address aspect’s of her client’s cultural experience including race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, sexual orientation, age, and chronic illness. Through her work, Katlyn aims to empower and motivate her clients in their unique journeys through life.
