Joshua earned his B.S. in Psychology in 2005 and M.A. in Professional Counseling in 2008 from Central Michigan University. Through his residential and home-based work, he has experience working with children and families from many backgrounds. He works to create a nonjudgmental, safe, and supportive space for all to work on their desired goals. Joshua has had specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He offers outpatient services and uses an eclectic form of treatment with a focus on building skills suited to each person’s unique learning style. He works with all age ranges, but has a primary focus working with children ages eight and up. He has clinical experience working with issues related to ADHD, ODD, depression, and anxiety just to name a few.
